Hello!

I'm Ryan Ashmore, the creative mind and driving force behind The Ashmore Cymbal Company (The ACC) as one of only 3 Cymbalsmiths based in the UK (at the time of writing). I established the ACC in 2023 under the mentorship of Dave Collingwood, with the aim to provide a uniquely recognisable sound for studio drummers, percussionists and live performers alike.

Beyond the borders of my professional life, I am a fellow drummer in a band which has afforded me the opportunity to support number of successful artists within the widely varied "nu metal" umbrella as well as the opportunity to regularly perform live. Music is my absolute passion and although I never found the success that would allow me to ditch my day job, becoming a dad in 2022 to my beautiful daughter gave me the motivation to dedicate myself to mastering the art of becoming a Cymbalsmith and turning my passion into something tangible to share with others.

My unique blend of passion and "corporate professional" expertise defines my approach. Every cymbal I craft is a fusion of seasoned skills, hours of dedication and an unwavering commitment to becoming a trusted name in the industry.
